New Amazon eBook drama
General update on me
I was in a craft fair over the weekend, and it was *okay*. I was able to earn back my table at least, and I met some interesting folks in the process. I haven’t signed up for another one just yet, and I’m wondering if my energy levels would allow me to do so.
I’ve already gotten a good few chapters in to book 3 of the Northern Roseaarde series, so hopefully this train keeps moving! My goal is to get it published this year to finish off the trilogy.
I was selected to participate in a video project hosted by Dale Roberts from YouTube! I have no idea what to expect, but I do expect it to be fun :) Stay tuned for a link to when that airs.

Amazon Kindle Drama
If you haven’t heard, Amazon recently just discontinued the ability to download EPUBs from your library. So what does that mean?
It means that your eBook purchase is forever tied to the platform, and is subject to changes at whim, which includes complete deletion of the material all together. It also means that you never owned what you purchased to begin with.
I could make a huge rant going on about how everything is a subscription, nothing is owned anymore, etc., but there are many others that have done this already. However, this turn is very unfortunate for indie authors who rely on a platform such as Amazon to carve out a living for themselves.
I don’t want to go too far into depth with this, but I just wanted to mention it in case you were unaware. This is also the reason I’ve been promoting my direct sales link more and more. Once you buy it, it’s yours!
I’m on Spotify!
I’ve been mixing some music and writing stuff to get me in the mood for writing. There are some that have really stood out, so I put them on Spotify under my alter ego. If you like Nu Metal, House, or Electronic, check it out! I also wrote a more contemporary song for a character in Reaper’s Bounty called Pieter.

LH Soaps & Sundries updates
I’m still working on the revamped L.H. Soaps & Sundries website. There’s so much to do and so few hours in the day!
In addition, if my craft fair over the weekend taught me anything, it was that I have TOO many options. I need to work on having a more simplistic inventory. This might also change how I run my channel, so we’ll see.

Sheesh, you have a lot going on. I think I’m glad I read all that, though it made me feel distinctly unproductive. Glad we connected and I look forward to reading your first novel.
